NCTRaces
Mission:
Our mission at NCTRaces is to raise a charitable donation for our local chapter of the North Country Trail Association. The Brule-St. Croix chapter of the NCTA is responsible for building, improving, and maintaining the North Country Trail in our area. As runners, hikers, and nature enthusiasts this trail is essential to in our connection to nature. It is our pleasure to help in any way possible, whether through donations, trail work, volunteering, or enrollment.
NCTRaces Mission Statement: Our mission is to help everyone enjoy the trails, comaraderie, and feel a sense of accomplishment through organized trail races. NCTRaces aims to achieve this by supporting the NCTA with an annual donation of event proceeds, hosting trail races where everyone is welcome and accepted with a mutual goal, and creating a close-knit family vibe.
NCTRaces: Palmer's are held at Palmer's Landing on the north end of Lake St. Croix. The races are 100% on the North Country Trail, heading east from Palmer's Landing. The trail is hilly and challenging in some sections, rolling and flat in others. You will enjoy views, valleys, creek crossings, and a variety of timber throughout the different distances.
The distances offered at NCTRaces: Palmer's are currently 5k (fun run), 13.1, 26.2, and the 50/50 Mystery Ultra (between 50k and 50 miles). Check out the other sub pages for more info.
